The Committee on Finance moves to amend the title of the bill to read as follows:

Com. Sub. for S. B. 610 -- “A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §18B-10-7d, relating to requiring each state institution of higher education’s governing board to promulgate a rule regarding the award of tuition and fee waivers for terms of service completed in an AmeriCorps State, National, VISTA, or Senior Corps program in West Virginia; providing requirements to qualify and limitations on what may be awarded; and permitting the Higher Education Policy Commission and the Council for Community and Technical College Education to propose legislative rules to provide for uniformity in the administration and tracking of awards.”.
